What is a web??

Set of information found at a specific internet address.

How web pages work

Local site administration: The person who maintains the website and updatesand transfers the content to the server.
File transfer programs: Programs that connect the local computer to the server that hosts the site.
Remote site hosted on the server: This allows the webmaster´s web page to be viewed by other users.
Users: To access a website, we use a browser, which connects each computer to the servrera that host the web pags, and downloads and displays the pages.

Classification

Static: Users cannot edit the contents or design, or make requests.
Dynamic: Users can edit the desing. The content is dynamic, i.e. It responds to the user´s request.

Accessibility levels

There is a certain criteria established by governments for the publication of web pages.

The WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) is a branch of the W3C that estabilishes accessibility levels (A, AA and AAA).

Responsive Web

A Responsive Web is one that is capable of adapting to any device where it is displayed.
